One of the guys at work and his wife are having a baby so I went to a baby shower the other day. Maybe not a momentous day in someone’s life, that is, unless you are the new mom or dad.  Having a baby is such a major occasion in one’s life. Not only is it the start of a new life, it makes a couple a family. A shower gives friends and family the opportunity to share the excitement. Then I remembered seeing a news article about how October 5, my birthday, is the most popular birthday, which made me think September and October are big baby months.
