Well, Thanksgiving was yesterday and that means the official start of the Christmas season. It doesn’t matter that the stores have been putting Christmas items on the shelves back in September, this is the REAL start of the season. From now until the 25th, I can watch Christmas movies, like “Miracle on 34th Street” (the original with Natalie Wood) and “It’s a Wonderful Life,” as much as I want without feeling weird. It also means the pressure is on to find the right gifts for the people on your list. Ugh, the stress! So much to do! Like you need one more thing to worry about, right? Miss Eileen’s Etsy Picks 5.27.11 Getting Ready for Father’s Day

Father’s Day is a few weeks away. What a good day to show the men in our lives how much we appreciate them. In my case, the hubby is a creative soul re-doing an old motorcycle, showing me the paint job with awesome orange undertones and metal flecks (I can’t paint with a spray can…. I so appreciate a person who paints well) yet still has time to cook supper when I work and do his own laundry.  I thought it would be a good idea to look at things for the men in our lives on Etsy and allow for shipping time.  As always, poll is on the top left corner.
